H3 Launch Vehicle flight No.6, the first flight of the H3 30 configuration, carried the Vehicle Evaluation Payload-5 (VEP-5) test payload. The vehicle flew as planned and the second stage reached its planned orbit. Small secondary payloads PETREL and STARS-X separated about 16 minutes after liftoff, and separation signals were also sent to BRO-22, VERTECS, HORN-L and HORN-R.
